Local Fresh Fruits and Veggies

OSC bids large varieties of local produce including: tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, spinach, hydroponic lettuce, asparagus, fresh herbs, apples, pears, nectarines, and watermelons – ALL OHIO GROWN!!!

Program Info:

  • Free resource kits from Feed Our Future that include monthly harvest of the month activities, recipes, posters, grower kits, stickers and pins.
  • Supported through a USDA grant with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, which helps expand participation from vendors and members alike!
  • Most vendors offer Fixed Pricing for FY25 school year for fresh local and non-local produce and Ohio produced products.
  • OSC will compare monthly awarded pricing to DOD Fresh and GFS.
  • Low Minimum Purchase.
