OSC Strengthens Auction Services with New, Experienced Consultant Stephen York

York brings decades of experience to enhance OSC’s Auction Services, helping districts efficiently manage surplus assets

The OSC is excited to welcome Stephen York, Auction Services Consultant, to the OSC team!

York is a licensed Business Manager and brings a wealth of experience from his 30-year tenure at Ravenna School District. Before joining Ravenna, he worked globally in business and technology consulting. As Director of Technology and later Director of Business Operations, he oversaw classroom and district technology, facilities, transportation, and food services, making him a well-rounded leader in school operations.

York has immediately taken on the OSC’s popular Auction Services Program, assisting districts in disposing of surplus vehicles, equipment, and furniture through efficient, cost-effective solutions.

In addition, he will lead the pilot development of two new OSC programs: Inventory Management and Records Retention. Drawing on his expertise from Ravenna, York will soon help districts track assets, manage documentation, and stay compliant with retention policies.
