Ohio School Safety Center Celebrates Fifth Anniversary at Annual Summit
OSC attends event showcasing ongoing commitment to enhancing school safety
Over 1,300 school staff members, mental health professionals, and first responders joined members of the Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC) earlier this month during the annual Ohio School Safety Summit in Columbus. Among the participants was the Ohio Schools Council, showcasing our ongoing commitment to enhancing school safety through various initiatives including training programs, new cyber security initiates, safety audit programs and more.
The presence of the Ohio Schools Council at the event underscored the collaborative effort required to maintain and enhance school safety. Our participation highlighted the importance of ongoing support, innovative programming, and comprehensive training to protect and prepare school communities across Ohio.
The Ohio Schools Council also can lend affordable expert assistance on a variety of school safety planning services, including school emergency plan assistance, emergency drill assistance, compliance with other SAFE Account activities, cyber security, threat assessment team assistance and building security/playground assessments.
