EPA Launches Clean School Bus Rebate Program

Learn More at the Upcoming Transportation Supervisors Network Meeting on October 15

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering up to $965 million in rebate funding through the 2024 Clean School Bus (CSB) Rebate Program.

This initiative helps districts replace aging diesel buses with zero-emission (ZE) and clean buses powered by propane or compressed natural gas (CNG). The program also covers ZE charging infrastructure, workforce training, consulting, and warranty costs. For 2024, districts can apply for funding for up to 50 buses, doubling the previous limit of 25.

Applications must be submitted by January 9, 2025, at 4:00 PM ET through the Applicant Dashboard, accompanied by required certifications. Visit the OSC Grants Page for details.

Join our upcoming Transportation Supervisor Network Meeting on Oct. 18 to learn about this grant and much more!
