EPA Scrap Tire Grants

Ohio EPA’s Scrap Tire Grant Program offers Ohio businesses (for example, manufacturers, scrap tire recovery facilities, material processors) up to $300,000 in funding to create or expand scrap tire processing capacity and product manufacturing. Funds are also available for local governments and nonprofits to complete beneficial use projects that incorporate the use of ground tire rubber.

Contracts covering the costs necessary for services of public or private contractors related to the project.

The next opportunity to apply will be the 2025 grant cycle which will open October 7, 2024, and deadlines December 6, 2024, with a project start date of April 1, 2025.
