The Ohio Schools Council (OSC) is a consortium of 192 school districts, educational service centers, joint vocational districts and Developmental Disabilities boards in 35 northern Ohio counties. Ohio Schools Council exists for the purpose of obtaining top quality products and services at the most competitive price through cooperative purchasing. In short, $aving $chools dollar$.
Ohio Schools Council offers group purchasing programs in the areas of electricity, natural gas, insurance, commodities, and a host of other goods and services.
Formed in 1986 under Ohio Revised Code Section 167 as a regional council of governments by 53 school districts, Ohio Schools Council is managed by a governing board of nine superintendents from member districts.
Notice to Vendors
Specifications for Workstations, Monitors, Laptops and Tablets to approximately one hundred ninety-seven (197) school districts who are members of the Ohio Schools Council (OSC), Cuyahoga, Medina and Lorain Counties Educational Service Centers who form the North Coast Shared Services Alliance (NCSSA) are now available to interested vendors. Copies of said specifications must be secured from the Ohio Schools Council, 6133 Rockside Road, #10, Independence, Ohio 44131, (216) 447-3100 ext. 103.
Vendors wishing to submit quotations on the above specifications shall do so by 12:00 p.m. EST on Friday, May 3, 2013 to Ohio Schools Council, 6133 Rockside Road, #10, Independence, Ohio 44131.
The North Coast Shared Services Alliance (NCSSA) is a voluntary organization and functions under its own stated procedures and general conditions for securing competitive quotations on products to be purchased by its members.
